Cloudline Red — Deep Steady Energy

Long-lasting calm energy for long runs, afternoon training, and recovery-day focus — without spikes or crashes.

Fully oxidized whole-leaf Camellia sinensis grown on our high-elevation micro-farm.

For runners

This leaf is processed to preserve the natural balance of caffeine, L-theanine, and polyphenols — delivering smooth, steady energy that supports long efforts and mental endurance without overstimulation.

Best for

• Long runs and extended aerobic days
• Afternoon or evening training
• Recovery days when you still want calm, steady focus

Energy profile

Energy rises slowly, holds steady through long efforts, and fades without a crash. This is deep, stable alertness designed for endurance — not stimulation.

How long will this last?

Each tin contains 30 g of whole leaves.

Most runners use Cloudline 3–4 times per week, which means:
4–6 weeks per tin for most people
12–18 sessions depending on dose

Because these are intact whole leaves, each session can be steeped multiple times, making each use last longer than coffee or bagged tea.

Leaf character

Hand-picked from mist-covered ridges, this high-elevation red tea reveals layered notes of orchid, alpine honey, and wild pear, with a deeper, warmer finish shaped by full oxidation and mountain air.

How to prepare

Light cup → calm, gentle focus
Strong cup → deeper, longer-lasting energy

Leaf Dose: 3–6 g
Water Temp: 90–95 °C
Time: 30–90 s
Infusions: 3–7

Short, intentional infusions allow the leaf to unfurl gradually, releasing energy and flavor with precision.

Health & composition

Grown on our own high-elevation micro-farm under certified organic management. Naturally rich in L-theanine and polyphenols to support calm focus, cellular resilience, and steady energy.

Notes from the mountain

Each micro-lot is labeled by elevation and harvest, honoring the landscape and season that shaped the leaf.

Our tea comes from a single cooperative on Alishan — a high-elevation microclimate where daily fog and cool nights slow the leaf down. Stress is what concentrates the chemistry.

Every lot is hand-harvested at first flush, then fully oxidized and kept whole through drying — the process that gives Red its deep amber colour and long, steady finish.

Why endurance athletes drink Cloudline

Three compounds the body treats like fuel.

Whole-leaf chemistry means caffeine, L-theanine, and polyphenols arrive together — deep, steady energy that holds through long efforts. No sharp spike, no crash.

Caffeine · paired
~30 mg

About a third of a coffee. Bound to polyphenols and released slowly through full oxidation — long, level energy with no spike or crash.

Camfield et al., Nutr Rev 2014
L-theanine
~22 mg

Amino acid that pairs with caffeine for calm, sustained focus — the signature of real tea.

Haskell et al., Biol Psychol 2008
Thearubigins
High

Full oxidation converts catechins into thearubigins and theaflavins — the deep amber colour and the steady, lasting lift.

We loved learning about the quality of Cloudline and the benefits from it. I've stopped drinking coffee since I tried Cloudline and feel so much better now.
